First you need a club. A club is a golfer's best friend aside from a caddy. The game has clubs like driver, iron, wedge and putter. Each of these clubs has its purpose but need not worry because the game will choose the one for you.

The following terms should also be remembered all the time:

. Fairway means good grass. Keep the ball on a fairway so you won't have problems with picking up a club and using it properly.. Rough, just like how it sounds, means the opposite of fairway. If the ball lands on this area, your power meter will limit you to two points.. Bunker, or sand trap, can get your ball stuck and will keep you from swinging hard.. Green is the light green part near the hole. This is your aim. Use the putter here and when you're on a hill, let the gravity do the thing. . Out of bounds means the ball went out even beyond the rough. You will get a penalty for this. Also, landing on waters means out of bounds.

Also, keep in mind the Power Bar on the left side of the screen and the blue dotted line on the map view. This indicates how hard you can swing the club. Just take not that the harder you swing the bouncier the ball will be.

Also, take note of the wind gauge. Wind can affect the movement of the ball. The wind will push the ball on a different direction. The tip would be aim the ball towards the wind so the wind will push the ball on your desired destination.
